Day Two

We explored all the little "villages" today! It was very cold, (40-50degrees depending on where we were) but the weather was BEAUTIFUL!
It is sooo quiet - we definitely came during off season!
In one of the "busy" ski towns we went to yesterday, I think we saw 15 other people in the entire town!
Some places are closed for business and not reopening until mid-november, but the ones (especially dining places) are running specials like BOGO and 30-50% off all everything.
we did a little window shopping, but mostly just walked around and drove up through the mountains to just take pictures and enjoy the views.

Day One - Colorado

So...WE ARE HERE!!...the flights were LONG! and by the third one - I felt awful - BUT - it is totally worth it!! It is BEAUTIFUL here! It snowed on our way from Denver to Avon...ALOT! and Nate is officially in love with the little Toyota rental S"A"V (see image below)-
The place we are staying is really nice, and the views are awesome! It is 37 degrees this morning, and we saw on the weather channel they opened one of the mountains today for skiing - Nate is chompin' at the bit! :)
